Microsoft in streaming streaming music

MSN executive producer Peter Bake has spoken to The Telegraph and mentioned plans for Microsoft to launch a streaming music service before the end of this month. The new service has yet to be named, but will offer both free and paid-for versions. If you listen for free then expect to hear adverts regularly. If you pay then the adverts will disappear. The service is expected to be very similar to the European service Spotify, which currently charges users £9.99 (US$16) a month to remove the adverts and get a better quality audio stream.
