New twist to Scarlett murder case

Scarlett Keeling ,the British teenager found dead on a Goa beach in February last year ,might have been sexually attacked by a group of men known to her days before she died,it has emerged.The Observer newspaper on Sunday quoted police sources as saying that Keeling sent an email to Spanish friend two days before her death alleging that up to six men tried to rape her after she returned to a beach bar from a rave where she had taken drugs.
She reportedly wrote "Got a taxi back to Curlies and slept there but the boys showed me some hardcore porn movies on a phone ,then they all took it in turns trying to rape me"
Curly's is a beach bar that Keeling and her siblings frequently visited and it was pards from the bar that her body was found.The newspapers said the "boys" reffered to in the email were six Young Indian men who had gained the trust of Scarlett's mother.Police were quoted as saying that they could be the killers.
Hope they will get severe punishment which will make frighten other s to do the same mistake.

93 killed in Australia Bush fires

Hi guys.As expected the death toll increased to 93 in Australia Bush fire incident andentire towns razed in the worst wild fire disaster in Australian history .People died in their cars as they attempted to escape the inferno-smouldering wrecks on roads outside this town told a tale of horror-while others were burnt death in their homes.
While the deadly figures and a heat wave raged in the south east Australia ,floods from torrential rains claimed lives in the north,one victim a five year -old boy feared snatched by a crocodile as he walked his dog.
The death toll from the fires jumped from 84 to 96 early Monday ,the Australian Associated Press said quoting police.However the AAP later reported police had revised down the figure to 93.But there were fears it could rise yet as medics treated badly burnt survivors and emegancy crews made it through to more than 700 houses destroyed by the fires some of which have ben blamed on arsonists.
Thousands of survivors jammed community halls,schools and other make shift accomadation as troops and fire fighters battled to control huge blazes fed by thnder-box conditions after a once -in-a-century heatwave.The devasting fires have affected around 3000 sq km.

Pakistan to confer today on response to dossier

Pakistan's response to the Indian dossier on the Mumbai attack's will be discussed at the cabinet defense committee meeting on Monday,Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Sunday.The prime minister said the report would be presented before the Defense coordination Committee chaired by him.Besides the Defense minister and other cabinet ministers the service chief are the members of the committee.
The report is expected to be handed over to India this week ,Mr . Gilani said the response,prepared after an investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency,would be shared with India and made public on Monday or tuesday after he had reviewed it.
Hope the report will be clear and the issues will be settled soon.

Jaya lalitha not to celebrate her birth day

AIADMK general secretary Jayalalitha on Sunday announced that she would not celebrate her birthday in view of the untold miseries the Sri Lanka Tamils faced.Her birthday falls on February 24.
In a statement here,she called upon her party men not to visit her.Instead they could organize various assistants program mes for the poor.The people of Tamil Nadu had taken an anti LTTE stand after assasination of Rajiv Gandhi and AIADMK took a similar line.She said that they will never support the LTTE.Ms Jayalalitha said the AIADMK was for a ceasefire in Sri Lanka.

LTTE suicide bomber kills 23 in Sri Lanka

Hi guys.Here is yet another bad news from Sri lanka.On monday morning a suicide bomber burnt herself in the regions of north of Vishwamadhu around 11.30 a.m..It was reported that atleast 24 will be killed among which most of them are women and children.The Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) reported that the bomber belonged to Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), whose guerrillas are now holed up in an area measuring less than 200 sq km by the Sri Lankan military.At least 24 soldiers and 40 civilians were also injured.Dunno when can we have a peaceful Sri Lanka.Meet you with more updates.Thanks for your time.
